Rent Income Team Leader

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) are seeking an exceptional candidate to work in our Housing Management department.

 The Job Role

You will lead a committed and high performing team, providing an excellent, customer focused rent income and recovery service.  You will play a key role in setting targets, reporting on income collection and shaping the future of the service.

You will bring strong motivational and organisational abilities to get the best out of your team, preventing the accumulation of debt and reducing arrears on a continuing basis. 

Creativity will be essential to research and understand best practice, and to identify and embed service improvements.  This is an interesting time in the field of income collection your role will be vital to minimising the impacts of welfare reform.

Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with our tenants sensitively are vital, as are good organisational, report writing and time management skills.
