An exciting apprenticeship opportunity has arisen for a Business support apprentice to join the busy Learning and Development (L&D) team at the Council of Kensington and Chelsea.

The corporate L&D team provide learning and development services to all parts of the Council. We aim to make sure the Council has access to the best learning and development resources. Services include the annual training programme, bespoke facilitation, management of the Training Centre and on-line learning. All these activities demand administrative support to ensure ease of access, a stimulating learning environment and the ability to monitor performance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible person able to work in an ever changing environment and willing to learn new skills. You will be required to use initiative, be flexible and support various L&D projects.

You will have good communication, IT and organisation skills, as well as a good eye for detail, the ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and adapt easily to new situations. You must be able to deal with staff and customers in a polite and courteous way. Opportunities to learn new skills and gain wide experience in administration are an integral part of the job.

You will be spending 20% of your working hours gaining skills and knowledge to work towards your Level 3 Business administration apprenticeship standard. This will include attending workshops, on-line learning, webinars, coaching or shadowing.
